About the Position

A healthcare organization in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Physician to provide surgical care for heart, lung, and chest conditions . The physician will perform cardiac and thoracic surgeries , manage pre-operative and post-operative care , and collaborate closely with cardiology and critical care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include inpatient surgical management, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation . The role emphasizes high-acuity surgical care in a collaborative hospital environment .

Shift Timings:

• Full-time schedule

• Inpatient surgical coverage

• On-call participation as required

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board Certified/Eligible – Cardiothoracic Surgery

• Ohio Medical License or eligibility

• DEA Certification (if required)

• Strong clinical & teamwork skills
