Title
Registered Nurse - Hospice

Schedule
Nightshift: 1 night from 7 PM to 7:30 AM in the inpatient unit, and 2 nights from 7:30 PM to 8 AM in homecare, with every 3rd weekend required.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR (remote training for hospice required)
- Hospice experience
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance for homecare

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a hospice setting, both inpatient and in-home.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families about end-of-life care and services available.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Support patients and families through emotional and practical challenges related to hospice care.
