Receptionist

Northbrooke Post-Acute , a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, is located in Jackson, Tennessee servicing patients with wound care, rehabilitation and skilled services. Position Overview: The Receptionist role is to perform clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor. The Receptionist interfaces with the public visiting the facility and by telephone, communicates with outside agencies, and ensures that the facility is a positive choice for seniors. Promptly answer all incoming calls proper telephone etiquette (professional, creditable, pleasant and sincere). Answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department. Fields accurate and complete phone messages, provides callers with necessary and appropriate information, and ensures delivery of messages. Greet visitors, Direct to appropriate office and/or residents’ room. Ensure guest/visitors abide by existing rules and refuse admission to persons as directed. Maintains the resident/visitor check in/out system, and retains daily list for six months. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have at least 2-year experience in a clerical position, or successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited school/college. Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in basic computer applications and office equipment (phone systems, copier, computer). Customer-service oriented with a courteous, professional, and compassionate demeanor. Ability to follow policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA compliance). Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts as assigned.
