Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Lindsborg, KS is seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment, with first shift hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. This role supports medication management within an inpatient setting and requires experience working with Meditech software.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists by providing medications, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to healthcare personnel.
- Prepare sterile IV admixtures with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming medication deliveries and supplies.
- Process prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring correct preparation and labeling of medications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear pharmacy technician license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent IV compounding experience, including some exposure to sterile compounding.
- Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy software preferred.
