Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Support, Fargo, North Dakota. Travel - temporary assignment in a long-term care nursing home setting. Start date June 29, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,269–$1,327 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. This assignment is in a long-term care facility that provides resident-focused rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy assistant interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including therapeutic exercises, balance and gait training, and range-of-motion activities.
- Assist with data collection, charting, and progress documentation; contribute to forming and updating treatment plans under PT direction.
- Support functional activities of daily living and mobility goals (transfers, ambulation, balance training) tailored to residents’ needs.
- Promote patient safety during all procedures, including proper body mechanics, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
- Educate residents and families on prescribed exercises, activity modification, and safety strategies to support independence and quality of life.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice in North Dakota.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and participate in a day shift during a travel assignment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the rehabilitation team and care staff.
- Experience in a rehabilitation or similar setting is preferred.
