RN - Endoscopy

Registered NurseThe Registered Nurse will work in the Gastrointestinal Lab. This position involves caring for patients in both pre-op and phase 2 recovery settings. The daily patient census ranges from 35 to 50. Usual procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS. The nurse will perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage IV insertions in pre-op. During phase 2 recovery, the nurse will monitor vital signs, perform Aldrete scoring, review discharge instructions, and remove IVs. The setting is predominantly outpatient, but inpatient care is also provided. No specialized equipment is required for pre-op and post-op tasks. Travelers must maintain compliance with smoke and nicotine-free facility policies. Expect to work some holidays during the assignment. Time off requests are approved at the manager's discretion.
