Job Roles And Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing, process, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) engineers to ensure efficient, high-yield production workflow.

Oversee the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) verification process to minimize production risks, resolve complex front-end engineering issues, and optimize material utilization.

Drive engineering strategies for advanced technology offerings, including multi-layer boards up to forty layers, high-speed digital circuits, and complex rigid-flex solutions.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to establish, refine, and maintain manufacturing methods, tooling procedures, and process controls.

Ensure all engineering workflows comply with high-reliability industry certifications, including AS9100, MIL-PRF-31032, ISO 9001, and ITAR regulations.

Analyze manufacturing metrics, cycle times, and scrap rates to identify opportunities for process optimization and capacity improvements.

Manage departmental resources, project timelines, and new product introduction (NPI) strategies for ultra-fast, quick-turn prototype schedules.

Provide technical support to regional sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries regarding complex PCB architectures and capabilities.

Qualifications And Certifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Science) or equivalent technical experience in a leadership capacity.

Proven management or supervisory experience leading technical teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Extensive technical background in printed circuit board fabrication, assembly, and front-end CAM processing.

Deep understanding of advanced PCB manufacturing methods, including multi-lamination cycles, sequential buildup, laser drilling, microvias, and heavy copper processing.

Strong familiarity with IPC standards (IPC Class 2 and Class 3) and military/aerospace compliance protocols.

Excellent capability in dealing with complexity, strategic planning, and presenting highly technical information clearly to cross-functional teams and clients.
