(Sr) Project Manager - Neurosciences Psychiatry or Rare Diseases Team - Remote based in the US

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Project Manager with 8+ years of global trial management experience in psychiatry or neurological rare diseases. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing project delivery across quality, timeline, and cost, and serving as the primary sponsor contact for clinical development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between sponsor and organization for project-level coordination and communications
• Oversee overall project delivery accountability including quality, timeline, cost, and financial stewardship
• Lead cross-functional project teams to meet or exceed deliverables while managing scope and out-of-scope activities
• Identify risks and drive issue resolution using RBQM/RESOLVE frameworks at project level
• Ensure team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant academic/vocational qualification
• 8+ years of related project management experience in psychiatric or neurological rare disease trials
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity systems
• Advanced knowledge of therapeutic areas, clinical development guidelines, and ICH-GCP regulations
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of project management principles
• Demonstrated ability to lead, negotiate, and influence cross-functional teams in complex environments
