In short, the same qualities we look for in our people.We are looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician who specializes in electrical and electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem solving to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!What's in it for you!To support our teams and their families beyond the workplace, we provide an outstanding benefits package effective day one of employment!Industry leading compensation program.401K options that begin vesting day 1.First-rate vacation plan for valuable work-life balance.Relocation assistance for new team members.Employee resource groups.What to Expect:Working in this position you will maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes.What you will work on:Ensure safety is the number one priority.Ensure compliance with all EHS safety requirements (OSHA, state, local and Company)Troubleshoot control systems for manufacturing equipment.Provide problem solving support for maintenance and engineering.Troubleshoot and repair 24-volt DC controls.Interpret PID, hydraulic, pneumatic, and wiring diagrams.Troubleshoot and repair field instrumentation: proximity, limit, flow, temperature, and pressure switches.Use PLC, HMI and data collection systems to analyze equipment performance.Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems and power supplies.Problem solve issues with motors, drives, and motor control centers.About you:5-7 years of electrical maintenance experience within industrial, commercial, or military environments.Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment: noisy, hot, cold, elevation, outside.Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointTechnical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline in work experience. (preferred)Willing to work rotating shifts, which include weekends and holidaysWhat will set you ahead:Industrial manufacturing experience in the metals industry.High voltage, substation, and power transmission experience.Rockwell, GE, ABB, and Siemens drive knowledgeWe are an equal opportunity employer.
