Public Health Genomics: Assistant Research Scientist
New York State Department of Health
The New York State Department of Health is seeking an Assistant Research Scientist to assist with public health DNA sequencing at the Advanced Genomic Technologies Cluster (AGTC). The role involves supporting the entire sequencing process and learning new automated technologies as they develop. A Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences and research experience are required, along with preferred qualifications in sequencing technologies and laboratory practices.
