Metric Geo is confidentially partnered with an established heavy civil contractor looking to add a Project Manager to its team in Indianapolis.

This is an opportunity for someone with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, particularly across INDOT highway and roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage heavy civil projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee earthwork, underground utilities, and paving operations on INDOT and other public projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, cost forecasting, and project profitability.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

Ideal Background

• Project Management experience within heavy civil construction.
• Strong experience across earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.
• Previous INDOT or DOT highway/roadway project experience.
• Proven ability to manage project finances, schedules, and field operations.
