Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Night Shift

Location: Houston, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg unit, which provides care for a variety of surgical and medical patients. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care in a Med/Surg setting
• Perform nursing assessments and create care plans
• Assist with various medical procedures including cleft palate repair, appendix removal, and lumbar punctures
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including seizure management and chest tube care
• Utilize EMR Meditech for patient documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license
• BLS and PALS certifications (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
