We are looking for a compassionate individual wanting to make a difference for a client in Southeast Kansas City. All caregivers including males and veterans are encouraged to apply. Benefits Paid Training Competitive Pay Responsibilities Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients by attending to basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating Help clients take prescribed medication Use a Hoyer lift for transfers Perform housekeeping duties Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client’s health status Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting with meals, including serving and related tasks Qualifications Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the physical capability to perform job-related duties Must be proficient in use of a Hoyer lift to make transfers Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Prior experience in healthcare, in-home care environment, or caregiving Willingness to enforce health and safety standards High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program Take pride in providing high-quality care Reliable, punctual, dependable We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Aging in Place LLC
