We are looking for a dependable Test Center Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations at a testing site in Oregon. This contract position is part-time at 20 hours per week and is ideal for someone who can provide a detail-oriented, secure, and welcoming experience for every visitor. The role requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including required Saturdays and occasional evening hours, while maintaining close attention to policy compliance and customer service standards.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome test takers upon arrival, confirm their identity, and guide them through check-in procedures with accuracy and courtesy.
• Carry out security screening steps, including the use of hand-held scanning equipment when required, to protect the integrity of the testing environment.
• Observe candidates throughout the exam process and respond promptly to concerns, irregularities, or policy-related issues.
• Preserve the confidentiality and security of testing materials, equipment, and the overall exam space at all times.
• Communicate site rules and procedures clearly so each individual understands expectations before and during testing.
• Escalate incidents that fall outside established guidelines and document relevant details in a timely manner.
• Support a fair, orderly, and comfortable testing experience by maintaining an organized reception and exam area.
• Assist with administrative front-office tasks such as document scanning, inbound call handling, and general clerical support as needed.
• Adapt to scheduling needs based on site operating hours, including Saturday shifts and occasional extended or alternate-day coverage.• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in reception, office support, or customer-facing administrative work preferred.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours when needed.
• Availability to work variable shifts Monday through Saturday, with Saturday attendance required and occasional evening hours possible.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures consistently in a secure environment.
• Comfortable performing identification checks, document handling, and routine security-related tasks.
• Effective verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented approach when assisting visitors and responding to phone inquiries.
• Basic clerical and computer skills, including scanning documents and completing administrative records accurately.
