General Production Worker

Production Operators focus on the assembly and disassembly of engines in a fast-paced warehousing and shipping environment. You will support engine processing for a major automotive program by preparing engines, performing basic tests, and safely moving and staging product throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and disassembly of fully manufactured engines according to established work instructions and quality standards.
• Remove and reinstall engine components as required for processing and testing.
• Apply coolant to engines and components as part of the preparation and testing process.
• Conduct basic leak tests on engines and accurately follow testing procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to equipment operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at assigned stations within the facility.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
• Accurately follow shift schedules and be prepared to start on first shift before transitioning to your assigned shift.
• Perform general production, general labor, and machine operation tasks as needed to support overall operations

3rd shift (10:30pm-6:30am)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
