About this position About the Role: The Accelerated Lube Technician plays a critical role in ensuring vehicles receive timely and efficient maintenance services, primarily focusing on oil changes and lubrication tasks. The technician will work closely with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide recommendations for additional services when appropriate. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and lubrication procedures. Ability to lift and handle automotive parts and equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive service role. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent. Familiarity with automotive service software and digital inspection tools. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Perform routine oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements efficiently and accurately. Inspect vehicles for fluid levels, tire pressure, and other basic maintenance needs, reporting any concerns to management or service advisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding services performed and any recommended maintenance. Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Skills: The required skills enable the technician to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while ensuring vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Attention to detail is crucial for accurately completing oil changes and identifying potential vehicle issues.
