You will help ensure the reliable operation of critical R&D applications, including Optiva and Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), while driving user adoption, process improvements, and system enhancements. By partnering closely with R&D, IT, and business stakeholders, you will strengthen digital capabilities, improve user experiences, and help accelerate product development and commercialization efforts.WHAT YOU WILL DO…R&D Application Administration & Support (50%)Support the stability, security, compliance, and ongoing operation of critical R&D applications, including Optiva and ELN.Manage business administration activities such as user provisioning, access standards, role and group configuration, object security, workflow approvals, and user communications.Oversee the business help desk process, including intake, triage, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, and stakeholder communication.Serve as a primary business contact for application access and administration and provide guidance on support processes and standards.Maintain business-owned SharePoint and Teams sites, process documentation, troubleshooting guides, and support materials.Support system validation activities, audit readiness, and compliance requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11.R&D User Enablement (25%)Coordinate and deliver Optiva and ELN training programs for end users and trainers.Maintain training schedules and adapt content based on business needs and system updates.Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, process documentation, and knowledge assessments.Partner with business users and subject matter experts to continuously improve training effectiveness through user feedback and lessons learned.R&D Business Analysis (25%)Partner with R&D and IT teams to gather, define, and document requirements for system enhancements, defect resolution, and process improvements.Evaluate proposed system changes and identify user impacts, training needs, and change-management considerations.Develop expertise in specific areas of R&D application functionality, including workflows, reports, data structures, and system processes.Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality.Manage enhancement and defect backlogs, facilitating prioritization, status tracking, and governance processes.Lead assigned workstreams and project activities in collaboration with business stakeholders, IT partners, and process owners.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…Corporate R&D Growth OfficeR&D scientists, product developers, and business usersIT application support and development teamsR&D Digitization TeamSystem administrators and process ownersInternal auditors and compliance stakeholdersTraining coordinators and subject matter expertsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)Bachelor's degree required. Preferred areas of study include Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in application administration, business systems support, business analysis, or other roles within a consumer-packaged goods environment that demonstrate transferable systems and process knowledge.Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems quickly and take ownership of new responsibilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Experience documenting business requirements and working effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.Proven ability to deliver user training and support a positive user experience.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)Experience supporting enterprise applications.Familiarity with Infor PLM for Process (Optiva).Knowledge of product commercialization processes, product data management, or R&D business operations.Experience with system validation activities and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.Experience supporting regulated systems and compliance-focused environments.Exposure to change management, process improvement, or digital transformation initiatives.Working ConditionsHybrid work environmentTravel: Less than 10%Compensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $93,800-$128,900Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
