Clinical Director, Clinical Research, Hematology

Clinical Director position leading hematology-focused oncology clinical research at Merck across multiple U.S. sites. Oversees the full clinical development cycle from study design through regulatory reporting and publication for investigational and marketed medicines.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan clinical trials aligned with development strategy
- Provide medical oversight and conduct of investigational and marketed drug trials
- Analyze clinical findings and summarize results for safety, efficacy, and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on clinical development project management
- Maintain scientific expertise through continuous learning and investigator network development
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
- Minimum 3 years of clinical medicine experience
- Minimum 1 year of industry drug development or academic biomedical research experience
- Demonstrated scientific scholarship and achievement record
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional teamwork capabilities
- Board certification or eligibility in Oncology, Hematology, or related discipline (preferred)
- Prior clinical research experience and publication history (preferred)
Compensation: $255,800–$402,700 base
