Clinical Supervisor

Clinical SupervisorAdvocates is seeking a collaborative, team oriented individual to join our trauma informed team. The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision to clinical staff while developing their skills in responding to complex issues. The Clinical Supervisor will conduct assessments and provide individual and group treatment. Our work is rooted in respect, compassion, and inclusion, and we envision a world where individual differences are appreciated and celebrated.At Advocates, we value the ideas, experiences, and contributions of employees and are committed to fostering a supportive, welcoming culture where everyone can grow and thrive.ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality evaluations, individual and group clinical services.Provide focused leadership, support and supervision for clinical staff within the team.Provide administrative oversight of outpatient services to ensure that services and documentation meet regulatory standards and excellence in care.Demonstrate a proactive commitment to maintaining effective communication with staff and customers to facilitate and promote effective working relationships and customer service.Ensure that clinical services are being delivered and documented in accordance with Advocates clinical philosophy and all licensing and regulatory bodies.Provide and document supervision to clinicians related to specific team specialty, including monthly clinical meetings for clinicians.Monitor and review supervisees' documentation to ensure clinical and compliance standards.Provide feedback to the Clinical Director and generate reports as necessary to maintain satisfactory compliance standards.Provide feedback to supervisees regarding clinical and documentation practices.Oversee assigned counselor's schedule and productivity to ensure they are meeting program expectations.Provide feedback to the Clinical Director that assists in the planning and development of services that provide quality care to members of the clinic.Assists in the hiring and training of new clinical staff.Attends and actively participates in all supervisions and staff meetings.Attend trainings as assigned; maintain necessary certifications and licenses.QualificationsMaster's Degree in related field and independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT); 3 years' post licensure experience preferred. 1 year supervisory experience preferred.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Strong computer knowledge.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.Outstanding reasoning and problem solving abilities.Must have valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving diverse populations.Advocates is committed to cultivating a diverse and welcoming community where everyone feels respected and valued.
