Pharmacy Technician Per Diem

Northern Utah Rehabilitation Hospital is a Joint Commission‑accredited facility in South Ogden, Utah dedicated to specialized inpatient rehabilitation for patients in the Northern Utah area. We are seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to provide medication assistance on weekday and weekend PRN schedules. Qualifications Required Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred. Hospital experience preferred. National certification (PTCB) preferred. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. General computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards. Ability to utilize concepts of age/developmental stages in interactions with patients and families. Responsibilities Retrieve, count, and measure drugs. Assist pharmacist in price‑checking and restocking of drugs. Access, input, and retrieve prescription information from computer. Refer physicians’ calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
