JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a skilled GI/Endo Tech to provide essential support during endoscopic procedures. This role involves preparing equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff. Key Responsibilities Prepare the endoscopy suite with necessary equipment and supplies. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and EGD. Perform cleaning and care of scopes and instruments according to established protocols. Process and sterilize instruments and equipment. Collect and label specimens accurately, including Bronchoscopy specimens. Adhere to infection control and sterilization/disinfection standards. Participate in the Universal Protocol (Time out) for all procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Schedule / Shift 5x8 Mids: 11:00 - 19:30 Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a GI/Endo Tech. Must have 1 prior travel assignment. Certifications BLS Experience Inpatient experience preferred. Skills Cleaning and Care of Scopes and Instruments Instrument Processing and Cleaning Bronchoscopy Specimens Labeling of Specimens Bronchoscopy Colonoscopy Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP) Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Infection Control Sterilization/Disinfection Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedures On Call 2-3 shifts on call each 6-week period.
