Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy treatment in accordance with physician referrals, regulatory standards, and departmental policies. The incumbent demonstrates clinical competence to deliver age-appropriate, patient-centered care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have graduated from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent, possess a current Physical Therapy license within the state of practice, and hold BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves evaluating patients' functional abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting according to professional guidelines, and communicating pertinent information to the healthcare team. The role requires physical agility, fine motor skills, and the ability to respond quickly to patient care needs. May require lifting up to 75 pounds and using standard precautions.
