PAY RATE: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:45 am

Afternoon Program: 2:10 - 6:00 pm

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre-K Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs at DB Bunce Elementary School or Naples Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 3–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. Position Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field.
• Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience).
• 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
