Gastroenterologist Opportunity

Vivo HealthStaff Inc. is recruiting for a gastroenterologist in Bay City, Michigan. This is a locum tenens position with a competitive salary and clear expense reimbursement guidelines.

  • Schedule:
    • Monday–Thursday: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
    • Friday: 12-hour coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
    • No weekend call
  • Practice Setting:
    • Small town atmosphere with big city amenities
    • Gastroenterology clinic less than half a mile from the hospital
    • ERCP is required
    • Support from hospitalists and two colorectal surgeons in the community

Pay and Benefits:

  • $2,500 for 24-hour call coverage
  • Car Rental and Hotel Provided
  • Malpractice Insurance: Coverage provided

Submission Requirements:

  • MI license (or IMLC for start dates 60+ days out with proof of LOQ) – Required
  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology – Required (No BE accepted)
  • ERCP certification – Required
  • DEA certification – Required at the start
  • Malpractice history – Clean malpractice history required for quick credentialing
  • COVID vaccine – Required
