Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years of RN OR experience required License: Michigan license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties Description: This position requires adherence to a strict attendance policy. Any RN who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately. Supporting evidence such as documentation for communicable diseases or hospitalization will be considered in favor of the contractor. The surgical services department offers a full spectrum of procedures across various specialties. General elective surgeries and critical or life-saving procedures are our focus. The department aims to enhance care and outcomes for all surgical patients. Preferred experience includes Ortho, General, Endo-Vascular, Urgo, and OB. Physical copies of certifications are only necessary if listed above. Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment. The call requirement includes one night of call each week and one weekend on call per month. Weekend call involves various time slots with both day and night shifts assigned. Holiday assignments will be made as necessary.
