Position Details:
Ultrasonographer- Glenwood Springs CO
Location : Glenwood Springs CO 81601
Duration : 20 weeks Contract
Pay Range : $60- $61/hr
Shift : 4-10 hour day shift (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with call rotation.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist Traveler to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a variety of specialties. The technologist will perform ultrasound examinations for both inpatient and outpatient patients and should be comfortable working across multiple imaging specialties.
The ideal candidate will have experience with general, vascular, breast, small-parts, and first-trimester OB ultrasound, as well as the ability to assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
• Provide imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient patients.
• Perform general, vascular, breast, small-parts, and first-trimester OB ultrasound studies.
• Assist physicians with biopsies and other ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure proper documentation.
• Review patient history and clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout examinations.
• Follow department policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Participate in the required call rotation.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• Experience in multiple ultrasound specialties, including:
  • General Ultrasound
  • Breast Imaging
  • Small Parts
  • First-Trimester OB
• Experience assisting with biopsies.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ARDMS registered OR ARRT(S) certification.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
