This contract position focuses on providing essential therapy services to a manageable caseload of six students—four receiving direct services and two on a consultative basis. Working in a vibrant educational environment near Irmo, SC, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their mobility and functional goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license required
• Proven experience delivering PT services within school settings
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and create tailored intervention plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services to assigned students
• Provide consultative support and strategies to staff and families for select students
• Track and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs
• Educate staff and families on best practices for integration of therapy goals into the student’s daily routine
