Technical Trainee - Adhesives & Materials Applications

Location: Cupertino, CA

About the Role

Start your technical career with structured training and direct mentorship from senior PhD specialists. This role offers the opportunity to build practical skills in adhesive applications, material testing, troubleshooting, and customer technical support.

We welcome recent graduates with a strong scientific foundation, curiosity, and an interest in developing a long-term career in technical service and materials applications.

What You Will Do

Complete structured training in adhesive products, application methods, and technical service practices.

Assist senior specialists with application testing, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Help prepare samples, document test results, and organize technical findings.

Learn to connect material properties and test results with customer application requirements.

Support collaboration with R&D, sales, and the China-based technical team.

Gradually take on greater responsibility as your technical knowledge and practical skills develop.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline. A PhD is not required.

Solid foundational knowledge of chemistry or materials science.

Strong learning aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Interest in a long-term career in technical service or materials applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship, research, or laboratory experience involving adhesives, polymers, material testing, or related applications.

Experience preparing samples, following test procedures, and documenting results.

Exposure to consumer electronics materials or applications.

Relevant academic projects and laboratory coursework are welcome.

Work Schedule

Core working hours are 10:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time, plus two additional hours each evening for daily coordination with the China-based team. The specific evening schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
