Job Purpose Operating in a collaborative, team-based environment, the Production Planner / Scheduler serves as a critical link between Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. This role is responsible for executing and supporting all production planning activities in a timely, efficient manner, with a specific focus on leveraging production planning expertise to seamlessly support SYN initiatives. Nature Of Duties & Responsibilities Perform core scheduling functions, including managing work orders and coordinating the physical movement of products and materials through manufacturing processes to ensure on-time shipment. Backlog to identify material shortages and capacity constraints. Provide timely commitment feedback and accurate delivery projections to customers. Partner closely with Purchasing, Production, and Engineering to efficiently expedite materials and Work-in-Process (WIP). Proactively identify potential supply chain or capacity bottlenecks. Analyze impact, formulate recommendations, and communicate solutions to all affected stakeholders. Apply specialized experience in production planning to actively support and optimize SYN processes, aligning manufacturing schedules with broader program goals. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in selecting the best methods and techniques to resolve complex material planning and scheduling challenges. Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or in an equivalent manufacturing/supply chain role. Proven experience in production planning specifically structured to support SYN requirements and workflows. Robust working knowledge of MRP systems, with hands-on proficiency in Oracle 11i and advanced MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis) and the MS Office Suite. Exceptional analytical capabilities alongside strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams. Working knowledge of Kinaxis Rapid Response or other Advanced Planning Systems (APS). APICS certification/training preferred. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range(annual): $73,000 - $78,000 Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
