What You'll Do As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping materials moving efficiently throughout our facility. Responsibilities include: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stage materials Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders Deliver materials to production and shipping departments as needed Load outbound shipments accurately and securely Complete daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Maintain accurate inventory by documenting material movements Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory Keep warehouse aisles and storage areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures Support general warehouse operations as needed What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: Previous forklift operating experience Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire Basic math and computer skills Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and work orders Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the workday Sit and operate a forklift for extended periods Work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures Why Join Big Bolt?
