Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health status, utilizing standardized screening tools as well as clinical interviews.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments, integrating evidence-based approaches to address specific client needs.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with coping strategies and tools they need to manage their mental health effectively.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including providing referrals to psychiatrists for medication management when necessary.
\n
• Maintain impeccable documentation of each session in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, employing calm and effective communication to de-escalate challenging situations.
\n
• Actively participate in regular team meetings and professional development workshops to hone your therapeutic skills and stay updated with the latest mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client base, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your experience with various patient demographics will be essential in fostering connections and building trust as you guide clients towards recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within New York State.
\n
• At least four years of clinical experience in a similar role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches and the ability to incorporate culturally sensitive practices into therapy.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of establishing rapport with a broad range of clients.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n
