Travel Registered Nurse (RN) / Cath Lab RN
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cath Lab to effectively manage and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures. This is an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Circulate and monitor cardiac catheterization cases.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Utilize the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Work Schedule
This position requires shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including on-call duty every third weekend and additional call shifts throughout the month.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience circulating in cardiac catheterization procedures is mandatory.
Department Information
- 12 beds available for patient care.
- Monthly departmental volume of approximately 150 cardiac catheterization cases.
