Role Overview Provide comprehensive diabetes education to clients of all ages, tailored to their individual needs, including psychosocial, economic, and language considerations. Conduct health assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate personalized education plans in both classroom and outpatient settings. Collaborate with a team of RNs and RDs to deliver quality care, while embracing professional development and community outreach. Qualifications & Skills Oregon Dietitian License and National CDR Registered Dietitian certification. At least three years of recent experience in diabetes treatment and education. Knowledge of adult learning theories and clinical management of diabetes. Preferred: Credentials in adult learning principles, diabetes education certification, experience with diverse ethnic groups. Key Responsibilities Educate clients with diabetes through assessments and tailored education plans. Work in team settings to support patient-centered care.
