Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Burbank, CA

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour

Schedule: Friday - Sunday | 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Hours Per Week: 36 Hours
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols in a fast-paced radiology environment.
Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and reporting technical issues as needed.

Requirements

• Active MRI Technologist certification/license required.
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
• Previous acute care hospital MRI experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
