Speech Therapist

Job Title Speech Therapist Location: Roosevelt, UT Company: Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa Responsibilities Improve or maximize the communication of the patient. Return the individual to optimum productive living within patient's capabilities. Periodically participate with all home‑care personnel in patient care planning. Provide full‑range Speech‑Language Pathology services as ordered by physician. Direct and supervise personnel, as assigned. Takes initial history and performs initial evaluation. Conduct all required skilled procedures. Consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment. Write reports to physicians regarding patient progress. Instruct patients and family members in home programs. Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in Speech‑Language Pathology. Must be licensed as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in the state where services are furnished. Must have completed 350 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (or be in the process of completing). Must have at least nine months of supervised full‑time SLP experience. Must have successfully completed a national examination approved by the Secretary. Must currently hold legal license in the state(s) where practicing. Two (2) years’ experience preferred.
