About the Position

Job Title: Endoscopy RN (Circulator) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Endoscopy License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Endoscopy circulator and teaching experience, pre/post-operative experience Description: This position requires an endoscopy RN who will work as a circulator. Floating between units is expected based on skill sets. On-call is required for 1 night per week and 1 weekend per 4-week schedule period. Weekends are mandatory when on-call. The patient ratio is 1:3 on the floor and 1:1 in the procedural room. Special requirements include endoscopy circulator and teaching experience in addition to pre/post-operative care. Travelers may float to other units and facilities as needed. The position involves supporting pre and post-operative care for various procedures. Endoscopy equipment experience, including routine tools, is necessary. Must have reliable transportation for this assignment. The schedule will include working 3 of the 5 major holidays. All time off requests must be submitted upfront. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination. References covering the past year in nursing will be required during the compliance process. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
