General ManagerHVAC INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIREDAs the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and operational excellence of the company. The General Manager will provide leadership and vision to our team of high-performing Technicians.Our ideal candidate has extensive residential and commercial Plumbing & HVAC experience, ideally having worked their way up through the ranks into a management role. We believe this trajectory helps develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of the residential and commercial Plumbing & HVAC Industry.Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day production of the company from interfacing with executive leadership team, finance, management of field operations, supervision of safety & project management & on-site progress, and employee retentionOversee successful execution of all Plumbing & HVAC serviceProvide oversight and accountability, Managers are on track and within budgetSupervise & mentor in the recruiting, interviewing, selecting, orientating, training, coaching and disciplining of the operations team as neededChampion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and toolsCollaborate with Ownership on long & short-term plans for company growthDrive safety, quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectivesProvide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company to OwnershipAct as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among the sales, service, installation, and operations departmentsWork autonomously while ensuring Ownership expectations are readily met and exceeded.Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the companyRequirements:Qualifications:Minimum of ten (10) years, verifiable full- time management experience in residential/commercial HVACWorking knowledge of residential HVAC methods, techniques & systems; as well as codesProfessional degree preferably in Construction Management or equivalent desired but not requiredMust embrace being constantly challenged to grow and improve operationally and professionallyPassion for and prior successful history of building high performing teamsStrong Leadership skills with ability to build consensus and gain buy-inDemonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small or large, impossible, or cannot be improvedValid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment background checkIf you are a results-driven individual with a proven track record of success in a similar role, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a General Manager.
