Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures on diverse patient populations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role requires proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and adhering to safety protocols in various clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.

• Explain procedures and demonstrate proper patient positioning to ensure optimal views.

• Adjust exposure settings based on patient anatomy and procedural guidelines.

• Maintain strict radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.

• Assist radiologists with procedures and interpret images as needed.

• Manage multiple computer systems and documentation related to radiology procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

• Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.

• Valid Kansas Radiology Technology license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety standards.

• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
