Design, train, and evaluate ML models, including language models, for extracting, summarizing, and transforming unstructured data to knowledge extraction and search functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product teams, to integrate cutting-edge machine learning advancements into scalable production systems. Analyze datasets to identify patterns, validate model outputs, and ensure data quality for algorithmic improvements. Stay abreast of advancements in large language models (LLMs) and multimodal learning techniques, applying findings to real-world challenges. Author technical documentation to communicate research outcomes and provide actionable insights. Build and maintain efficient data pipelines for experimental and production-level systems. Participate in industry collaborations and contribute to internal tools for code documentation and knowledge extraction. Explore and prototype novel ML methodologies tailored to eBay’s ecosystem. Maintain project documentation, stay updated on NLP and machine learning advancements, and update the team on the latest developments.
