ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. You will work with cutting-edge medical technology and play a vital role in the recovery of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the ICU setting with a focus on high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor and manage patient vitals, medications, and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line insertion, cardioversion, and chest tube management.
• Interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data to guide patient care decisions.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ICU experience required.
• Certifications such as CCRN, IABP, Impella, and CRRT are appreciated.
• Familiarity with titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, paralytics, and ventilator management.
