Remote HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition Focus

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce company, is seeking a talented and experienced Remote HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. You will play a critical role in attracting and securing top talent to fuel the company's growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, and a passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences. This role supports a dynamic team and requires a proactive approach to talent acquisition within a remote-first framework, managing recruitment operations from afar, connecting with teams near Queenstown, Eastern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for various open positions across the organization.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate interview schedules and manage candidate communication throughout the process.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and define job requirements.
• Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure data accuracy.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
• Assist with other HR generalist duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with South African labor law as it pertains to recruitment.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach to talent acquisition.
• Experience working in a fully remote role is highly preferred.
