In this role, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions that meet the unique needs of each patient. You'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Assessment: Review and assess patient information, conduct functional assessments.

Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care plans with patient and family input.

Therapeutic Intervention: Administer therapy per physician orders and document progress.

Productivity: Meet targets, managing 9-12 patient visits daily.

Supervision: Train and supervise Rehabilitation Technicians in treatment procedures.

Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians, patients, and hospital staff on patient care.

Patient Education: Educate patients on procedures, risks, and home care programs.

Continuum of Care: Ensure smooth transitions for post-discharge rehabilitation.

Departmental Participation: Attend meetings and contribute to quality improvement.

Supervision & Education: Supervise students and pursue continuing education.

Compliance: Follow all regulatory and professional standards.

Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as needed.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy

Licensure / Certification: Current CA Occupational Therapist License

Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
