AV Technician II

Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94086 Duration: 1 year with the possibility to extend Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM; Possible swing shift (3pm-12am), weekends as well.

Top 3 Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience in hardware maintenance, electronics troubleshooting, robotics, automotive electronics, or comparable environments.
• Working proficiency with SSH/SCP, systemctl, journalctl, network diagnostics (ip/ping), log analysis, and executing Bash/Python scripts for troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic outputs and technical documentation, with experience in firmware/software provisioning or hardware validation.

General Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Full-time onsite availability
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexibility for alternative shifts/weekends as needed

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in autonomous vehicle (AV) fleet upkeep, depot operations, or ADAS system maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR, Radar, Camera, and GPS/IMU calibration, including chart/target alignment routines.
• Ability to read and interpret basic Bash or Python scripts to troubleshoot script execution failures.
• Ability to audit existing SOPs, serve as a local escalation point, and assist with onboarding new technicians.
