This behavioral health hospital is a dedicated inpatient psychiatric facility offering a structured and supportive environment for patients requiring acute mental health care. The facility features a 24-bed department with a comprehensive support team including RNs, Techs, Therapists, and Administration, ensuring collaborative and high-quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Psychiatry

Job Details:

• Experienced provider needed to support the opening of a forensic adult unit and replace an MD on the acute adult unit
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Participate in daily treatment meetings attended by all team members
• Manage 12-14 patient encounters per shift on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit
• Must be board certified in Psychiatry with active Massachusetts licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days
• Clinical expertise required in anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and psychotic disorders
• Eating disorders experience preferred
• Must have experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
• Required treatment techniques include pharmacotherapy and group therapy
