Travel/Contract RN for Labor & Delivery

Travel/Contract RN for Labor & Delivery in Brighton, Colorado for a 26-week assignment with competitive pay up to $2,900 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care to pregnant women, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans and ensure smooth labor processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC charting system.
• Execute emergency procedures and respond promptly to complications such as fetal or maternal distress.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery procedures and postpartum care, ensuring emotional and physical support.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Ability to triage and function as a baby catcher/transition nurse.
• Ability to titrate intravenous drips (e.g., Pitocin).
• Physical ability to work night hours.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
