Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with strong communication and customer service while contributing to a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the property, observe activity at assigned areas, and communicate with property personnel, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security‑related matters. Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, noting maintenance or property concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
