Scope of Job

The Graduate Research Assistant ( GRA ) will work as a team member of the Center for Teaching Excellence and work closely with the center director and staff.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

The GRA will:

Assist in collecting and analyzing data for program evaluation

Conduct interviews with faculty and students

Running statistical analyses

Organizing data into Excel and SPSS

Collecting data through interviews and/or surveys

Assist with grant applications and research projects

Attend team meetings

Do other duties as assigned and within job scope

Preferred Qualifications

Desired & Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must work well with diverse groups of people and have excellent communication skills

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision

• Research experience preferred
