The Senior Safety Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role oversees and develops HSE team members, promotes a culture of safety and accountability, reduces workplace risks, advances environmental sustainability initiatives, and supports operational excellence across the organization. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations, foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and make decisions regarding promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Ensure team alignment with organizational goals and support continuous professional growth Provide team support through guidance, problem-solving, and coverage planning while collaborating with department leaders to coordinate HSE needs Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry-specific health, safety, and environmental regulations Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and environmental events to determine root causes and implement corrective actions Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, supervisors, and contractors Ensure proper emergency response planning and preparedness training Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in workplace safety or industry or an equivalent combination 3 years of experience within safety role or industry
