Plant Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for you to join our production site in Wittenberge as part of a succession plan, to start as soon as possible, in the role of Responsibilities take overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the site. provide technical and managerial leadership for the Production and Engineering departments and ensure the smooth running of site operations. assume responsibility for the budgets and costs of the Production and Engineering departments. ensure compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety, environmental and quality standards (e.g. ISO, FSSC, HACCP, BImSchG). initiate and consistently implement process optimisations and measures to enhance efficiency, quality and sustainability. actively shape the strategic development of the site and drive operational excellence. Initiate, coordinate and successfully implement operational projects. Act as the central point of contact for authorities and service providers. Take on leadership responsibilities, develop staff and foster a performance- and safety-oriented culture. Qualifications a successfully completed degree in chemistry, process engineering or a comparable qualification. several years’ management experience in an operational role, ideally in the oleochemical or chemical industry. in-depth knowledge of production management, lean management, continuous improvement and, ideally, supply chain processes. an entrepreneurial leader with a strong hands‑on approach and an appreciative management style that treats colleagues as equals. strong communication skills in German and English. a drive to shape the future, decisiveness and the ambition to develop the site sustainably together with the teams.
