Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient infusion center. Administer treatments, monitor patient responses, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer chemotherapy and other infused medications following protocols and safety guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to adverse reactions promptly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on treatment procedures, side effects, and post-care instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and incident reports.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all applicable certifications, licensure, and facility policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid California RN license uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Chemotherapy ONS/ONCC certifications with valid expiration dates.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in oncology nursing.
  
  
• 
  Comply with Tier 3 travel regulations and local submission rules.
  
  
• 
  Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  
  
• 
  Complete necessary onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
